If you've thought about translating Tekken or Street Fighter into a card game, then Yomi is the game for you. In Yomi, both players have a deck that simulates one fighter ina match. You win the match when the opponent runs out of cards or hit points. Game designer David Sirlin created this game to test two things: the ability to estimate the value of different options as the game progresses, and the ability to read your opponent.

Riichi Mahjong

Aldrektia Saga XIV: Accidentally on Tellus

A bunch of young moon elves are wandering outside their village in their own universe, when they come across to a dimensional key. They accidentally activate it and end up on Milky Way, a certain planet called Tellus, to Finland, Espoo, convention center Dipoli. Dimensional key also brings some other nearby beings from Aldrektia to Ropecon and they do their best to find each other and escape back to Aldrektia. This humorious game is played mostly in Finnish, but some characters can also be played in english. Players start from Otakaari 18 and continue their play around Ropecon area.

Founder and then-CEO, Peter Adkison, relates his story from the very first days of Wizards of the Coast to running it. From inception until just before the acquisition of TSR including early roleplaying projects like Talislanta and his own Primal Order, and, of course, Magic: The Gathering. He continues with his stories about running Wizards of the Coast, the acquisition of TSR (and with it, Dungeons and Dragons), the launch of the 3rd edition of D&D, the Open Gaming License, Pokemon, the sale to Hasbro, and his departure on good terms in 2001. Questions from the audience are encouraged.

Munchkin Finnish Nationals Open

The age-old tradition of the Munchkin Finnish Nationals is here again. In this game there can be only one winner, and winning often happens by walking over the cardboard corpses of your fellow players, while stealing their loot. To participate in the festivies, you only have to bring yourself and your best pokerface, although a few gullible hirelings won't hurt. As always, the best players of the qualifying rounds proceed to the final, which will be played until the bitter end. The sets to be used will be chosen arbitrarily and the judge always has the last word.

Shinden Dojo is Finland's largest Bujinkan dojo and its head instructor is Shihan Lauri Jokinen. At our dojo we teach Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, a traditional japanese martial art. Bujinkan consists of the teaching of nine samurai and ninja schools. Munchkin Finnish Nationals Open

The age-old tradition of the Munchkin Finnish Nationals is here again. In this game there can be only one winner, and winning often happens by walking over the cardboard corpses of your fellow players, while stealing their loot. To participate in the festivies, you only have to bring yourself and your best pokerface, although a few gullible hirelings won't hurt. As always, the best players of the qualifying rounds proceed to the final, which will be played until the bitter end. The sets to be used will be chosen arbitrarily and the judge always has the last word.

Rapid Though is an alternative Vamprie: the Eternal Struggle tournament format. The tournament is played in three person tables with a 45 minute time limit, 40-90 card library and a crypt of at least 6 cards. Victory points as normal. Tournament points: 6/4/2 instead of the normal system, but winner of the table "steals" a tournament point from the two losers. Banned cards: Una, Blood Doll, Minion Tap, Tribute to the Master, Vessel and Villein. Aside from these exceptions, normal VEKN tournament rules are used. 3x45 min rounds, 45 min semifinal if necessary and a 45 minute final.
